About

Hi! My name is Flora Andre.

I am originally from Belgium but have been living in New Zealand for the past few years.

I studied Physiotherapy at Université Catholic de Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium and graduated with a Master in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in 2014.

After completing my studies I worked in Martinique, Belgium and the UK covering a wide range of patients from elderly to infants. I have vast experience in Musculoskeletal, Cardio-Respiratory, Orthopaedics, Neuro-Rehabilitation and Women’s Health Physiotherapy.

With a passion for helping people of all ages, I am determined to find the cause of the problem, whilst making a detailed plan for rehabilitation and providing the best possible treatment for each patient. This can be achieved through manual therapy, specific exercises, education and guidance on self-management. My objective is to provide individualized care to patients and help them achieve their goals.

Whilst I am still a providing general Physiotherapy Services, my main passion and skill set lies in Women’s Health Physiotherapy. I have had an interest in this area since University and have continued to upskill and educate myself throughout my career. I have come to enjoy working with women of all ages and I am committed to reducing the stigma that surrounds Pelvic Health through education and promoting awareness. I find helping women regain their confidence in their bodies and allowing them to return to full function truly rewarding.

Outside of Physiotherapy you will find me busy helping my partner out on the farm or exploring the beautiful New Zealand outdoors. I enjoy running, hiking, and delicious food with good company.
